Terms of Service

1. Accounts & Registration

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile information up to date.
• You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate another person, or use another person’s account without permission.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

2. Courses & Digital Products

• When you purchase a course or digital product, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the content for your own learning and personal development.
• You may not redistribute, resell, share access credentials, publicly perform, or create derivative works from our course content without express written permission.
• Download tokens for digital products are limited to 5 downloads within 3 days of purchase. If you need additional downloads, contact us.
• Free courses are provided as-is and may be modified or removed at our discretion.
• “Lifetime access” means access for as long as the course remains available on the platform. It does not guarantee perpetual hosting.

3. Membership & Subscriptions

• Membership subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, depending on the plan you choose.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• We reserve the right to change membership pricing. Existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days’ notice before any price increase takes effect on their account.
• Membership benefits (live events, exclusive content, community features) are available only while your subscription is active.

4. Payments & Refunds

• All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.
• Prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
• Digital products and courses: due to the immediate-access nature of digital content, all sales are final. If you experience a technical issue preventing access, contact us and we will resolve it.
• Memberships: if you cancel within 7 days of your initial subscription and have not accessed member-only content, you may request a full refund.
• Physical products: refund and return policies are stated on each product listing. Generally, unused items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
• Refund requests should be sent to SovereigntyAcademy@pm.me.

5. Marketplace

• The Sovereignty Academy marketplace allows approved sellers to offer services, digital products, physical goods, and events to the community.
• Sellers are independent individuals, not employees or agents of Sovereignty Academy. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of marketplace listings.
• Sovereignty Academy retains a 7% platform fee on each marketplace transaction.
• Sellers receive payouts directly via Stripe Connect. We do not hold or intermediate funds beyond the platform fee.
• Disputes between buyers and sellers should first be resolved directly. If resolution cannot be reached, contact us for mediation.
• We reserve the right to remove listings or suspend seller accounts that violate these Terms or our community standards.

6. Community Guidelines

Our community spaces (feed, wins wall, confessional, council, and live events) are built on mutual respect and sovereignty. When participating, you agree to:

• Treat all members with respect, even in disagreement.
• Not post content that is hateful, threatening, harassing, sexually explicit, or illegal.
• Not spam, advertise, or promote unrelated products or services.
• Not share private information about other members without their consent.
• Not attempt to manipulate, deceive, or defraud other members.
• Respect intellectual property — do not post content you do not have the right to share.

We reserve the right to remove content and restrict access for users who violate these guidelines. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent account suspension.

7. Intellectual Property

• All original content on Sovereignty Academy — including course material, written content, graphics, logos, design, and software — is the intellectual property of Sovereignty Academy and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content except as expressly permitted by a purchased license (see Section 2).
• The Sovereignty Academy name, logo, and brand elements may not be used without written permission.

8. User-Generated Content

• You retain ownership of content you create and post on the platform (community posts, comments, wins, profile information).
• By posting content, you grant Sovereignty Academy a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform and in connection with our services (e.g., featuring a community post in a newsletter).
• You may delete your content at any time. Deletion removes it from the platform, though cached or archived copies may persist for a reasonable period.
• You represent that you have the right to post any content you submit and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

9. Disclaimers

• Educational content only: Sovereignty Academy provides educational and informational content. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional legal, financial, medical, or therapeutic advice. Always consult a qualified professional for specific guidance.
• No guarantees of results: the outcomes you achieve depend on your own effort, circumstances, and decisions. We do not guarantee specific results from any course, tool, or program.
• “As is” provision: the Site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sovereignty Academy, its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

• You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
• Upon termination, your right to access paid content ends, except where you have a perpetual license to previously purchased products.
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the new terms, you should stop using the Site.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
